That Inner Whisper: The MomentI Knew I Had To Begin Again

In 2018, I heard something I couldn’t ignore. A quiet but unmistakable whisper: "Vision Board Parties." It wasn’t an idea I read in a book. It wasn’t something I saw online. It was a word placed on my heart by God. And while I didn’t know what it would become, I knew I had to follow it.
The Call That Brought Me Back to Myself

That whisper opened something in me I didn’t know needed healing. For years, I had followed the path of hard work, achievement, and responsibility. I was proud of what I had built. But somewhere along the way, I stopped asking myself what I truly wanted. What I was called to create beyond work.

This message “Vision Board Parties” wasn’t just about a business idea. It was an invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the dreams God placed in me long ago. Not the ones tied to titles or tasks. The ones tied to purpose.

A Legacy Bigger Than Career

Looking back, I realized this wasn’t the first whisper I had followed.

In high school, I felt led to study computer science. That was unheard of for a girl like me in the 1980s. But I said yes and that “yes” became a four decade career.

Now, in 2018, I was being asked to say yes again. To a new path. One that didn’t look like success the way the world defines it.
But it felt like alignment.

I remembered something personal too, my parents once dreamed of starting a party business. They never got the chance. And here I was, being called to gather people through something called “Vision Partying.”

God doesn’t waste anything.

The Early Days of Vision Partying

After that moment, I spent days writing in my notebook. Pages and pages of ideas poured out of me, names, formats, colors, Scriptures, moments I wanted to create for others. I wasn’t just brainstorming. I was responding.

The first Vision Party I hosted wasn’t perfect. But it was powerful. Women sat in a room together, reflecting, laughing, crying, dreaming. No performance. No pressure. It felt sacred. And that’s when I knew this wasn’t about crafting goals. This was about listening to what God was already whispering to each of us.

The Real Meaning of “Beginning Again”

Beginning again doesn’t always mean burning everything down. Sometimes it means returning to the voice you used to trust. The one that got quieter under the noise of achievement, comparison, or fear.

Vision Partying became my way of helping others hear that voice again. It’s not just cutting photos from magazines. It’s a holy pause. A space to name what matters. To get honest about what’s no longer working. And to step into a vision that reflects not just your plans but your faith.

If You’re Sensing That Nudge Too…

Maybe you’re here because you’ve felt something similar. A tug. A quiet whisper. A restlessness you can’t explain.

If so, you’re not alone. That whisper might be the beginning of your next chapter. And if you’re ready, I’d be honored to walk beside you as you listen to it.

Let’s begin again. Together!
